What is KantaBet?

KantaBet is a peer-to-peer betting platform where users bet against each other, not against a system or bookmaker. Every bet on KantaBet always has another user on the opposite side. KantaBet only provides the platform — users create, join, and counter bets directly between themselves.

Types of Bets on KantaBet

KantaBet offers three betting methods:

1. Pool Bets — many users stake on either Team A or Team B.

2. Featured Bets — a 1-on-1 bet created by another user.

3. Private Bets — a personal 1-on-1 bet you create and share via a private code.

Pool Bets

Pool bets allow many users to place stakes on either side. When the event ends, all losing stakes form the total winning pool.

A flat $0.00 pool fee is deducted from the total winning pool before winnings are shared. The fee is not charged per user.

The remaining amount is shared among all winners based on the percentage of their stake.

Example: If your stake represents 10% of all winning stakes, you receive 10% of the final winning pool.

Featured Bets

Featured bets are simple 1 vs 1 bets between two users.

Both users stake their amounts, and the winner takes the loser’s stake.

A $0.00 fee is deducted from the winner's amount after the event ends.

If the event ends in a draw or is cancelled, both users get their full stake back.

Private Bets

Private Bets are also 1 vs 1 bets, but created personally by a user and shared using a private code (e.g., sending the link to a friend).

The second user joins by entering the private code. The winner gets the opponent’s stake.

A $0.00 fee is deducted from the winner’s amount.

Draw or cancelled events return full stake to both users.
